Glassworks is proud to have teamed up with Oracle Windows and Taylor Construction to supply the perfect external glazing solution for Matilda Health Care in NSW. 

Matilda Napean is a 90 bed sub-acute private hospital in Kingswood, Western Sydney, that aims to provide specialist inpatient care in a boutique hotel style setting. Hence why the facade performance of the building was important for the health and wellbeing of patients and energy consumption of the facility one. 

Working closely with our Sydney based Account manager, the client landed on LoE-366 clear in a 24mm IGU with light grey owing to its solar and insulating performance balanced with visibility. This particular IGU make-up offered a U-Value of 1.3, SHGC of 0.26, a VLT of 43% and an exterior reflectance of just 10%, the ideal combination for a commercial healthcare facility.

Since the hospital’s opening, the glass has exceeded the clients’ expectations in terms of performance and aesthetics and will continue to do so for years to come.
